I am an NRE working in private sector, I applied for an OBC-NCL certificate for my son. The village officer asked my NRE 1-year bank statement to issue the OBC-NCL, according to him certificate will issue based on “salary amount I transferred to my NRE bank a/c, from this they will asses my yearly income” . As per my NRE salary it is above 8lakh / year, My question is OBC-NCL certificate issue based my NRE-salary? - Please let me know. (I understand from your video that OBC-NCL is issued based on Rent-income, FD interest,... etc which we are earning form India ( but NOT based on salary we are receiving since i am in a private sector) and I have some NRE-FD interest income, it is below 6lakh/year. For your kind reply ASAP.
